History: 3rd International Artist's Book Triennial Vilnius 2003 is organised as a continuation of the first and second Triennials. The 1st International Artist's Book Triennial took part in 1997, in Gallery "Kaire Desine". The theme of it was "Diary: Eight Days". 65 artists from 13 countries took part in the Triennial. The 2nd Triennial took part in 2000, in Gallery "Arka". The theme of it was "Apocalypse". 138 artists from 29 countries took part in the triennial.
Catalogue: The organisers will publish the catalogue. As usually it will be printed in typography and bounded by hands like artist's book. Catalogues are available at 25 USD per copy on request. International money order will be accepted for payment. Catalogues from last Artist's Book Triennials are available at 25 USD per copy on request. Entrants who will participate in the Triennial and donate artist's book to the Permanent Collection of "Bokartas", will receive the catalogue free of charge.
Future: After the end of the exhibition in Vilnius, Triennial is planned to be moved in 2002 to "Art Frankfurt" in Frankfurt Art Fair, Germany; in 2003 to Gallery "Manna" in Bruge, Belgium; in 2004 to Gallery "Gravicel" in Lille, France.
